Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Shopify Developer with 3–4 years of experience to build and customize a comprehensive service and activities booking portal. The platform will support bookings, ticketing, and purchases for diverse categories such as study resources, events, conferences, workshops, trips, and food items. The developer will be responsible for delivering a seamless booking, purchasing, and integration experience tailored to organizational needs.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a Shopify-based booking and purchasing portal for multiple categories (events, trips, workshops, resources, and products).
Build and optimize workflows for service booking, scheduling, ticketing, and checkout.
Customize Shopify themes and layouts using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery.
Integrate Shopify with third-party booking apps, payment gateways, and notification systems.
Enable multi-category management (study desks, books, music, events, trips, baked treats, etc.).
Ensure mobile responsiveness, speed optimization, and SEO compliance.
Manage Shopify APIs and create custom apps or modules when required.
Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements.
Requirements
3–4 years of proven Shopify development experience.
Hands-on experience building service booking portals on Shopify.
Strong knowledge of Shopify APIs, third-party app integrations, and custom development.
Proven ability to implement ticketing, scheduling, and purchasing systems.
Experience integrating ERP/CRM or learning/event management systems is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage projects independently and collaborate with stakeholders.
