Job Description
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter / Designer to support a range of design and engineering projects. The role involves preparing accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and related tools. Candidates may have experience in one or more drafting disciplines, and will work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality technical drawings.
Responsibilities
Prepare 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD and AutoCAD-based toolsets.
Work on projects related to any one or multiple disciplines, such as civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical drafting, depending on project needs.
Convert sketches, markups, and design concepts into clear and accurate technical drawings.
Ensure drawings comply with project standards, specifications, and applicable codes.
Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes.
Organize and maintain drawing files, revisions, and related documentation.
Export and manage drawings in neutral formats (DWG, DXF, PDF, or other client-required formats).
Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency.
Review drawings for completeness, clarity, and adherence to project requirements.
Participate in coordination meetings to support design progress.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an AutoCAD Drafter / Designer in any one or more drafting disciplines.
AutoCAD or related CAD certification is a plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
Experience in any one or multiple areas such as civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical drafting.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or other AutoCAD toolsets is a plus, not mandatory.
Ability to work with neutral and exchange file formats.
Basic exposure to other CAD or BIM tools (e.g., Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks) is an advantage.
